Hey man is your car exhibiting any of these problems:

The TSB # = 03-19-11
The name of the PCM update is YRF0

Symptoms that this update is supposed to cure:

-High Idle on cold start
-Surge under light throttle (cold or warm) 2500-3000 RPM
-Sputtering on cold starts
-Rough Idle
-Low RPM Dips
-Battery light flicker
-Hard to start
-Slow Return to idle
-Lacks power on initial pull away

If not don't get it updated, but if you do go as soon as you can. I have been experienceing some of the problems described above and decided to get the reflash. Problem is my car is still acting up. Someone told me it takes the car a while to get used to the new reflash but I don't know.

Either way go to this link and that shouldl explain everything to the dealer: http://www.alldata.com/TSB/19/031950DU.html

Also join the Thread on the SVT forum titled: "SVTF stalling violently during Cold Startup" Once you get it done post up what the dealer did or said. And if you're experiencing any reoccuring problems.

This should be more than enough information for the dealer. But some service dept are difficult and you'll never get anything done, no matter what you show them. Do worry, present the TSB #, have them check it out and just tell them I want the reflash, any problems or issues call SVT and have them refer you to a local dealer that will not give you a run around.

Now are you sure that your car has not already been reflashed? If the dealer stated that all recalls have been fixed on your SVTF then the YRF0 should apply to that as well. Did they show you that your SVTF has had all updates and TSB's applied? If not ask them to show you.

Let me know if you hae any trouble getting the dealership to do the reflash after you have given them the TSB and your cars symptoms. I have an 800 number to corporate you can call and they will come down and kick the dealerships ass into shape.
