NEVER gonna get car back

OK, well. I was supposed to get my car back today, from the dealerships from the clutch install. Well, I get a call today saying its ready. Im like AIGHT. WEll i get there after school, and the shift linkage is broken. THey said they could never drive it or get it in gear. Well when another mechanic looks at it, he sees that the DSI cable thingy is broken. I am SO PISSED. It has been iin there for a WEEK. My wheels are scratched, i have NO vehicle to drive, and anyways. I just needed to rant. They said they are gonna order the parts monday so. Word to the wise. DO NOT take your vehicle to ford UNLESS absolutely necessary.

Well, just look at it this way. The longer they keep it the happier you will be to have it back.

That's cold hearted bro. I love ford dealerships and not to mention the new vehicles they put out. Reliability and Customer satisfaction are of the utmost importance to Ford motor company.

YES H3LL YES I was talking to you. If you can't see that ford makes you their top priority your a reshard.

I was being sarcastic. ^^ A little more sarcasm. If you search for threads by my name you'll find a huge ranting thread where I was bashing ford, and anything to do with ford. I really got some people's pulses racing and I even got kicked out of the forums for a day or two.

I'm over the mechanical issues with my car and I've moved on to modding the interior. I'll still bash the service departments from time to time.

I know you're being facetious - but I can honestly say my dealership does make me feel this way. And I've bought Fords, Mazdas and Hondas from them...and gotten the same great service and treatment with all three brands.

Yeah I knew someone would come up with that as a retort. ^^^^

I've been there and done that. Bought 4 different vehicles from the same dealership. I received outstanding service from them and free loaners for vehicles I wasn't entitled to . You're a repeat customer in the sales department just as I was, that may have a deciding factor in the service you get.

Tincher FORD LINCOLD MERCURY DODGE CHEVROLET and Chrysler, Plattsmouth Nebraska
I also referred ten people from on base to buy from them, They saw me coming and knew either I was buying or my friend in the seat next to me was.

Well, it's true. I've bought two Fords (plus one lease of a Explorer Sport Trac), three Mazdas, and four Hondas from Alton-Blakley Ford-Lincoln Mercury Honda Mazda Suzuki since 1990. Two salespeople in that timeframe, and the salesperson I bought three hondas from is now the service manager of the Honda shop. The salesperson we currently use can sell all lines, and in truth, we get our price from the VP/General Manager of the whole kit and kaboodle.

Same deal, we continually get our $100 checks for referrals, both my wife and I.

Are you getting your currently bad service treatment from the same dealer you've had that relationship with?

If so, that REALLY, REALLY, REALLY sucks.

Here's how good our dealer is - we simply call our salesman, tell him issue/service requirement, and he sets up the appointment. We actually drop the vehicle off with him, not the service department. He hands us the keys to a demo model, and then brings the vehicle back to us when service is complete.

We've had the horror experiences too - from a Mercury dealer in Lexington when we bought my wife's Mercury Capri XR2 (LEMON FROM HELL), and from our local full line GM dealer when we were silly enough to buy a Chevrolet Venture just because of the discount.

With the GM dealer, I was a repeat customer, only I had purchased Nissan (300Z) from them, not GM. They folded the Nissan shop, and went to GM only. Horrible experience.
