The belt may be new, but did they time it correctly?

Does it feel like you don't have alot of power?

Yup definitely timed incorrectly. That for sure will take care of p1381.

The SVT Focus is a bit of challenge doing the Timing Belt because of the VCT.

Can you still ask the person who you bought it from where he/she had the Timing Belt replaced with. Should have a warranty somewhat and they should be able to reset it.

You don't want to mess with having a SVT Focus with the Timing Belt Off. Can go catastrophic after a while.

Fix the miss before you go and put another belt in it. There may not be anything else wrong other than the miss. My car for example had codes for tps and was running like garbage also had a p1381, I put a tps sensor in it cleared the codes and not another problem. Just because it has a code does not mean that there is a problem with that part.

Yeah I'm going to change the plugs tonight and if it doesn't help my buddy Rick will help me set my timing. He knows what he's doin. He's been building a motor for nine months.
