At what point....

At what point should I start to worry about getting the computer retuned to all the mods I have on my car. I have so far is the Steeda short ram, screamin'demon w/live wires, FC 65mmTB, and UD pulley set. My car runs great but would retunning my computer to the mods I have help me out much or should I wait until after a few more mods?

I would wait until you get more mods so you bare the cost only once.

Any chip can be beneficial at any point...the more you have to work with as far as modifications...the better you are with the results.

Paix...

People have said that if you disconnect your battery for about 30 minutes, then reconnect it that you'll feel a difference in the way it runs because it has to relearn everything. Dunno if it's true or not. If you're going for a chip, get the SCT.

i hadn't disconnected my battery yet and I still felt the gains, but i'll try that to see if anything happens. When I do get a chip that is the exact company i was looking at man!

There's no chip available for the SVT. You would need to have your ECU reflashed with a custom tune.

This is true the SVTF ECU does not tune with a custom performance chip.

Try looking into Turbo Tom's SVT Diablo Predator, that is now available for the SVTF, Tom's tune show's a great gain in HP and TQ. Here is the link if you are interested.

You'll only *need* a new ECU tune if you go FI(even the JRSC should get tuned) or get cams.

you are supposed to disconnect the battery when you put mods on your car anyways, that way it can reset everything for the new stuff it will make your car run smoother.
