New FSVT Owner

So... I've trolled on this site for a few years picking up parts for the half dozen CSVT's I've owned over the years (still have 2). Today I picked up an 03 ZX5 FSVT w/128k. The car has to be shipped and should be here by next week. With the mileage at 128k I am sure the clutch has been replaced at some point but I've got no idea on the timing belt. Is it a 75k interval? Either way I plan on swapping out the timing belt and water pump. Is there anything else I need to keep an eye out for?

Thanks in Advance!

Moose

Most? I know from looking over the past several years that pre TSB clutches were lucky to last 30k.

Just the normal SVT stuff, valve cover gasket, T-belt, check the t-stat housing for leaks, and I think that's about it off the top of my head.

Yeah it tends to leak after so many 1000's of miles. It leaks oil down into the cylinder #1. Just something to keep an eye on that's known to go bad over time, just like the t-stat housing tend to break and leak over time. Oh and definitly do the timing belt, if it goes so does the head and possibly the motor with it. Ford may say 120k mi on the belt but that is for the regular zetec, SVT's should be done every 60-80k mi due to it being a interference motor. Yes do the water pump at the same time since your right there.
