Need SVT Tranny TSB Info!

So I took my SVT in for the transmission and they replaced it without question. Only has 8k miles on the clock. Exactly one week later, I get home from work, park the car and what do i hear? The damn thing is rattling again. One week!

I need the updated part numbers for the Getrag that they just released. They listed all the parts they replaced on this work order I have, I want to verify whether or not they put those updated parts in or just replaced it with the same crap. If someone has these numbers handy I'd appreciate it before i call my dealer back. Thanks!

And sticky'ing this info would probably help a lot of folks...

It's already posted....
Do a search for TSB 04-12-2

They replaced your whole transmission?
Generally, it's just clutch/pressure plate/flywheel.

3S4Z-6477-AA FL/WHL ASY
4M5Z-7550-AA DISC ASY-CL
4M5Z-7563-AA PLATE ASY

TSB 04-12-02

Thanks for the info WD.

Yep, they replaced the WHOLE thing, and the list here in my hand is clearly the old numbers. Looks like its going back in to the dealer...but i think i will call ahead and tell her to order the parts then ill take it in. What a hassle. I'll probably call SVT and let them know or get my service rep to call SVT so she knows the correct parts to get.

Urrgh. Not that big a deal but c'mon, they only lasted a week before the rattle came back!

For Future Reference, here are the old tranny part numbers:

2M5Z-6375-AA Split Mass Flywheel
2M5Z-7550-AA Disc Asl Cl
2M5Z-7563-AA Plate & Cvr Asy - Cl Press

Actually, just got off the phone with SVT. No offense WD, but those arent correct numbers:

They are:

Clutch Disc: 4m5v-7550-aa
Flywheel: 3sy4-6477-aa
Pressure p.: 4m5v-7563-aa

I really dont know iH8, call up SVT and see if they still honor the TSB after the warranty is up. If you have the extended warranty, you could probably pitch a little fit at the dealer and have it fixed.

Not dumb, Ignorant (by meaning in the dictionary of lacking knowledge in a certain area)

TSB's are not Recalls, Under normal circumstances you will not receive the service unless you can prove that the condition described in the TSB is apparent in your vehicle while under warranty.

Also if you read up on TSB's they don't entitle you to free replacement in any way shape or form even while under warranty, they're merely guidance for techs.
