Unhappy Clunking and rattling

I've had my SVTF since May and within the past couple months it's developed some rattling.

One is in the back, when I back out of my driveway and down off the curb I get a real clunky sound. The hatch *appears* to latch tightly. Could it be a suspension issue? Anyone get anything similar?

Also my sunroof has a considerable amount of play in it. You can push up and down on it and get .25"-.5" of movement. It even moves some when it's closed. So when it's open it'll vibrate and rattle.

Just bored at work and wondered if anyone had run into these themselves. Might be time for a dealer visit.

Yes!! I have the same problem with my hatch, but haven't gotten around to taking it to the dealer yet. I know that they will just laugh it off and send me away like they usually do. It definitely sounds like the hatch though and not the suspension. If you jiggle the hatch, you can reproduce the sound. I'm hoping that it's just a matter of adjusting the latch. Please let us know if you find the cause of yours.

My sunroof exploded on me when the car was about a month old. I was driving down the road, and heard this BOOM like a rock hit me...except I wasn't around anyone. I pulled over fearing the worst (big dent) and heard this crackling noise - it was my sunroof continuing to shatter. It's tempered glass, so nothing got anywhere, but it was VERY bizarre. They thought it might be because it was installed weird and perhaps the flex shattered it (although it wasn't flexing when it shattered).

Weird, I heard a loud BOOM driving once, did the same thing. Stopped got out and checked the vehicle over, couldnt find a single thing worng anywhere. Sunroof was/is in A+ shape so that wasnt the issue. This happend back in August, so I havent thought about it lately.

I've noticed a vague squeakish/clunkish noise from the rear of my car also. Actually it hadn't occured to me that it might be the hatch, I was thinking maybe it was the suspension. I have heard of other SVT owners who had problems with suspension noise and I believe the cause was the springs moving in their perch? I dunno, I remember bfocused was one in particular who had the problem.
