SVT perks @ dealership

I have been reading through the forums about certain perks that SVT owners are supposed to get from the dealership (rental car, wash, and vacuum, etc). Does any one know if this is extended to those of use who bought the car used? I am mainly concerned about the rental due to having to get to work.

Thanks

Yes, you get a free rental (I've heard that it is only if your car takes longer than 3 days but i'm not sure)

I can't say whether it transfers, though I would assume so....it's just part the factory warranty.

You get a free loaner no matter how long the work takes (I had one for only a day or two)....so long as it's warranty work.

I skip the loaner. Last time that happened they put in in a new Cavalier that I brought back to the dealer within 2 miles out of safety concerns. The only thing that I let them do as far as SVT perks go is vacuum.

Yes you should get a free rental. When they look up the vin in Oasis it will show that you get SVT Premium Service. Wash/Vaccum/Loaner should all be listed. I take the rental everytime. You have to ask for it 90 % of the time.

Most dealerships offer free loaners, coffee and stuff like that either way on any car, warranty work or not (at least the good dealerships do).

Only thing I heard is that you are to get a loaner for free completely when your SVT is getting worked on.

You are entitled to a free rental/loaner for the duration of your 3yr/36k warranty (the factory warranty is transferable) ... unless you are just going in for routine maintenance ... it doesn't matter if they are out of loaners, in that case, they have to rent you a car ... I know, my car has been in the shop about 4 times, and sometimes I've been issued a loaner and sometimes a rental.
