Clutch Master Cylinder

I've developed a leak from the clutch master cylinder...a well known issue with SVTF's. My mechanic quoted me $250 parts and labor. He said if I came with parts in hand it would be around $150. I've read some older threads on the subject. Any insights into parts not thru Ford? Other wisdom? Thanks!

That sounds like a good price. I did mine myself a year ago and it was a real pain, tight spaces to work in and it took a while to bleed. I got the part, Motorcraft brand, from Central Florida Motorsports for $50.

My 2 cents....
save your money. I did mine in my drive way in a couple hours. Its not too bad if you have any sort of mechanical ability. It was a tight work area, but totally do-able.
Do a search on here, I am sure there are tons of threads on this
