SVT Diablo Predator READY

What a differance the Predator makes in just regular driveability let alone the Performance you feel

With the Predator installed it feels likt the SVT should feel from the Factory

I can send some one a dyno if they will post it

Tom

I know that, in Ohio, they do emissions check by running the car with a computer hooked up to the OBD port.

The obvious n00b question is, will the e check computer detect the retune and/or will it fail my car? I guess I am unclear as to what data the computer is pulling from the OBD port.

your car will still pass emissions, and it'll do it running smoother and better!

^^ Thanks, I've read up on what I could find, but the one thing I've not been able to track down is a price!

Tom, do you have a canned-info sheet on what this tuner can offer and are you still offering a 5-day guarantee?

I have a near-stock '04 SVT that I run 93 octane in....sounds like I could still notice some big improvements in performance with the predator, no?

the last price I heard is $495.00 with free update for 6 months. You can purchase additional tuning for additional $.

right now its a tad cumbersome to use, since you have to bench-flash the ECU. Diablo is stilling trying to work out the bugs that prevent you from flashing the ECU through the OBDII port. Not sure when that hurdle will be overcome, but Tom said when that does happen, it will be a update that anyone who purchased a predator (from him) will have access to.

So, yes, you can do it yourself. It is really a slick little toy. I know f-body people that use these, and they are wonderful for testing, data retrieval, dymanic car information, lots of stuff.

I am hoping to scrounge up enough excess this month to get one myself.
