focus sport spark plug wires

I was thinking about getting some focus sport spark plug wires, and i was just wondering if they would help at all, because in the paragraph explaining what they do i think they are talking about the zx3 and not the svt, i was wondering if the svt already has some highperformance spark plug wires on it adn if it would be worth it to get the new wires.
anything helps

I put a set on and could tell very little if any difference. My opinion... save your $$$.

My idle is smoother but no gains that can be felt or measured.

They're good wires and use the Ford OEM boots for a perfect fit.

you're not really gonna notice any gains with spark plug wires, but like microtonal said, most highperformance wires and spark plugs can give you smoother idling.

Smoother idle and that is about it. You won't be getting any 'felt' gains out of it like most people think. As for the SVT having performance plugs, the FS ones would be better regardless.

i would go with screamen deamon and live wires, in the latest focus fanatic magazine, it showed horsepower improvments across the powerband, and a gas milage improvment. granted that was tested also running a FC throttle body, and a UDP, so ur HP gians would be less then their tests, but it shows that that upgrade has potenial, plus i think the gas mileage improvment would remain the same

It doesn't matter what type of wires you run, they will not help performance. Still the same current going through it unless you change out your ignition system. Most aftermarket wires are just larger than stock.

It would be extremely minor if you did.

Why you not listening. You could put the largest wires on there that you little heart desires but you will not notice a change unless you change the source. Changing the medium it's transfered through "may" increase performance minutely. In the end to see a change in perf. change the source to a hotter source.

It's also been said that most of the time you wont feel a difference in you vehicle unless there is a change of ten or more HP.
