Flat tire

So get this, on the way to a class today I felt the car doing a little shimmy, kept driving and thought flat rear tire, well i was right on. get to the trauma center and park. get out of the car and look at the right rear tire, and walah. flat. pissed off , so picture this, an instructor getting out of the car and saying every word in the english language with students and nurses walking by. bad part is the steeda stampede is this weekend and i'm registered to be there. not with the donut tire I won,t be. first thing tomorrow The car goes to ford. only 4567 miles on the car. I'm not sure if I screwed up my rim, but we will see. tire is probably finished i think. Hope not.....

Tires are not under the OEM warranty. They may be under the tire makers warranty if you can show that it wasn't something external that caused it to blow (pothole, cirb, nail, etc.). OEM's don't cover some things under warranty considered normal wear and tear - flat tires are included in that.

go back to the dealer that u bought the car from, and ask them about buying the tire at cost. thats what one dealer told my dad, they said if he had bought the car from them they would have sold him the tire for like 50 dollars(16" perellis, not svt conties) but not all dealer ships will do this, after that dealership told him that, he went back to Kayser in Madison, WI where we bought it, and they would not give him the tire at cost deal....Moral of the story, pray that your dealer is cool like the first dealer, and not a giant throbbing **** like Kayser of madison

Terrys Tires, the best place around me to get tires, the Contis are 177 a peice, with mounting and balancing. i think im jus gonna get me some 225/45/ZR17 bridgestone fuzion ZRs :) cheaper, and more reliable then the stock contis. either fuzions, or some Yokos.
