FC 65mm TB install

I was wondering how the people with the FC 65mm throttle body installed there's, because me and my buddy had a bit of a problem we ran into. Everything was easy right until we found this damn little piece of plastic on the inside wall of the throttle body (one of the wires you see coming out from the TB cover box) and the little plastic crap broke off! So i took it in to my dealer, they looked at it, its covered under warranty, so their replacing it and will be done over night but this time i want to know how you guys did it. We gave the guy some bs about how it broke on the highway and thats how it was under warranty, i thought we weren't gonna be able to convince him to do it under warranty because of my AEM CAI, FC UDP, and plug wires you can visably see but they were cool which was a plus. Any thoughts on a how-to on the removal of the plastic piece and wire?

not the same thing, but another problem you might run into is if you didn't get a coupler for the AEM CAI, just thought i'd give you a heads up if you didn't already know!

Yeah, i found that out before hand but i had another coupler laying around that fits exactly right, it was a perfect fit, i'm not complaining that the coupler is blue and my cai is red though lol. Also are the Eibach springs hard to put on? I have all the right equipment but haven't had time to install them because of work.

k, cool, just makin sure u knew! if you have the right equipment, they shouldn't be too hard to install, as long as you know what you're doing (the Eibach's)

Today a friend of mine tried to argue that by installing the FC 65mm Throttle body your warranty would be voided. Is this right? I always thought this was a mod that really doesn't negatively alter car, therefore still being under warranty after instaling it. Let me know.

Warranties are only voided if the aftermarket part causes the problem you bring it into the dealer for. IE if your DSI cable breaks they probably wont fix it since the throttle body is attached to it. They can argue that defective design caused the problem and refuse to repair it.
