Replacing foglights, turnsignals

I noticed a broken r/h foglight on my SVTF ZX5 the other day. I was rather irked - I had expected this to cost way too much and I thought I would have no choice but to go to the Ford dealer and pay full price.

Well, good news: I did a Google search for FOCUS FOGLIGHT and found a site called Auto Parts Corner which sells body parts and lights for many different makes/models. They sell SVT Foglights for $55 a piece (they're a little hard to find because they're lumped in with other Foci parts).

While I was there, I bought some clear turnsignals with yellow-orange lights (sidemarkers). I thought they would look stupid on my black car, but for $19, they were worth a shot. Well, they look really cool and they aren't cheap-looking either. Now I'm beginning to think the OEM amber sidemarkers looked out-of-place on my black car.

Ok, so this isn't as exciting as chatting about chips or snow tires or even dyno runs, but it may save you money. Keep in mind that these parts are not OEM, but the foglights are almost identical to the OEM parts.

Yeah the amber on the car looks out of place. You should get a euro grill so you have no amber left. Thats what i did and it looked great.

Ive got a cracked fog on my passenger side too. Ive seen them on ebay for as little as 35 bux. My only problem with buying a single foglight is the difference is the intensity of light from the old one and the new. Hate to have one side brighter than the other.

Get HOEN bulbs they are great. They match the stock HIDs perfectly.

1. Yes, it is the entire foglight ass'y - with a bulb identical to the stock one included.
2. The clarity/quality is excellent - unfortunately, pockmarking from the sand on MN roadways has kept me from comparing the original to the new one. I believe it is equal.
3. I'm going to look into those HOEN bulbs, thanks.
