People hate the SVT

It's come to my atention that some of the people out there really hate SVTF. If you people do not like the car, then take the hit, and get rid of the so called peace of shiznit. then i won't have to fear getting on the site and hearing all the negativity. SVTF might not be fast or be the best bang for the buck. She's still fun to drive. I like to take the ass handing once in a while. just think, if you had the best and fastest car, you would never lose and the race would be no fun to win. thats why its a race. I don't know why i get affended by some people just stating the facts about there rides. but the car is a limited production car and #erd. Not many can say that for 19 or 20 grand.

I would also don't worry, but I am tired of hearing people bitching about their Foci. Asking for help is one thing, bitching is another. If all you do is bitch, it should be a sign that you need to get rid of the car.

yeah, same here. if the car was perfect, then there'd be nothin to fix up. everything has problems, and that's why we like em so much, right? my car is the best, problems and all. wouldnt take it any other way.

I just ignore them all. After all, if we wanted to be like everyone else and we cared about their opinions, then we would've bought a Civic.

Well... if you really think about it, most people come to these boards either to complain about a problem and wanting information to fix what's wrong, or doing research on a vehicle. Manufacturers look at these boards to find out what's wrong, what's good, and what's bad (and to deny a warranty if you raced your EVO).

I got hooked on forums when I got my Chevy S-10 ZR2. A local dealer had one at a VERY good price (with quite a few mods to boot!), and I was looking for info about 'em. I should have done more research about ZR2's, but I was in a hurry (6k off sticker!!!). Since then, I've joined a few more to research vehicles (ex. - I thought about a SVTF back in Feb, decided my truck was good enough, then decided to buy one a month ago) and to learn about mods.

So my advice to you is to blow off what everybody is whining about... oh yeah, I don't HATE my SVTF

This is old news. And do you honestly think this kinda thing doesn't go on the other manufacturer's enthusiast sites? I've been to the VW, Honda, Mitsu and a couple of other sites and people bitch and moan about every car out there. SVTF is no exception, neither is people bitching about them in support forums. The only reason people post is to point out facts and problems and have others who have experienced similar issues give ideas.
