never done it but if you havent either i certainly wouldnt plan on going at it without someone with experience, no its not simple and probably like 6-10 hours, that might be too much of an aggressive estimate though

Well i dont know about doing it yourself, but i am going to look into have my dealership do it. I am going to have them put the aftermarket clutch/ flywheel instead of the up dated ones. They really shouldnt care since they save money. But we'll just have to see if they go for it. My advice to you is to try that out first.

Unless you have a lot of time. Changing the clutch take a lot of patience the first time. After that it is just a lot of work.

its not a time or skill issue because i have changed clutches in other cars thew only thing i am worried about is specail tools. I looked into having the dealership do it and they charge $800 labor so it is a money issue.

I've pulled an SVTF trans before...you don't want to do it yourself unless you have a lot of time, a lift, and a lot of tools. the trans is a real pain in the rear to get out. if I were you though, if you're going to have the trans pulled, save up and buy the quaife differential, and have that installed at the same time. once the trans is out, it's really easy to put the diff in, doesn't take much time at all.
