Question STS...All the same?

Ok I recently posted another topic like this, but now my quesiton has slightly changed. I have a friend whos dad runs a dealer and can get me the Ford Racing Short Throw for the SVT at a discount price. The other STS I was considering was the Steeda. Is it true that they are both the same thing? I have heard this from a few people, and even on www.myfordperformance.com they say that the Steeda and FRPP sts's are the same thing, they even have the same pictures! Thanks for all your help!

exactly, it's all about the point of pivot on the STEEDA

Yes, Ford Racing pays Steeda to put their name on Steedas shifter and sell it as a "Ford Racing Shifter".

Well, with that said, you should get the FR STS since it is a Steeda and you can get it at a discount price.

makes sense to me... and I can absolutely confirm that Steeda's shifter is a genuine Steeda part. Never knew that FR rebadged it tho... go figure lol

I know the Steeda shifter is superb, so you'll enjoy it. Make sure it's adjusted properly too.
