SVT 3door vs. 5door

Anybody know all the differences invloved between 3door vs 5door (besides two extra doors, thanks ) I've already noticed that 5door side skirts are different (no curvature). Are the weights comparable? Wheel base?
Personal preferences are cool too, as long as people dont start arguing

The skirts are different? I never noticed. The wheelbase is the same I believe, I know they are the exact same length even though you would think the 5-door would be longer.

First, I didn't get the one I like better - the ZX3 version. I think it's a bit sleeker looking, with just the one door on each side and the skirt differences. With two kids (four and eight years old), four doors are a must, so a ZX5 version is what I bought.

Weight isn't really much of an issue - the ZX5 version is less than 100 Lbs heavier.
Wheelbase, track and overall length are the same.

Another kid-related difference - The ZX5 version tested better in NHTSA crash testing.

Good point. The 3-door scored pretty well overall but one star for rear seat passengers is pretty bad. I know I wouldn't want to be a rear-seat passenger in a ZX3 that was hit from the side...

I kind of sway back and forth between the two. Sometimes, like badqat says, the 3 door looks sleeker and sportier, kind of making the 5door look a bit "wagonish". But then I see a 5 door, and it looks a bit longer and more proportionate- less "squished together". I got the 5 door too, partly because there were only 2 in the area (1 5 door, 1 3 door), and the fact that I may have this car for a while, and the kids factor came in to play. The 5 door is more of a sleeper, too.
