SVT stroker kits

I've heard some good stories about mustangs with strokers, but does anyone have any experiance with them on the SVT?

no reviews but i found a company that makes them for the focus

but at $4000 a pop, a turbo would probably be more beneficial.

Yeah, you'd have to lower your redline with the stroker kit, so you'd pick up good low end torque, but the HP gains probably wouldn't be all that great. Now a stroker kit plus FI. Stupid fast.

There were a few stroker kits for the focus at the NOPI shows I went to this year. I can't for the life of me remember the company's name, but they had stroker kits for the 2.0 Zetec, 2.0 Duratec, and the 2.3. If i can remember the vendor's name, I'll post it up. I might have a pic or two with them in it so I'll check those when I get home.

Does the Stroker kit hurt the engine at all? Or decrease life span?

anything you do to your engine to increase power, hurts the engine and decreases its life span.

I would be carefull about stroking the SVT. I would guess that the SVT engine doesn't have as much overengineering as the old V-8s had.
