home made short shifter

well guys this is one of the easiest and best free mods ive done and i dont know why anyone would spend close to 200 on a sts all i did was cut close to 3.5 inches off my shifter and welded it back on at the same angle the stock one was and now i cant belive the difference

first they are only $90

second its not the length of the handle, the aftermarket ones have a different fulcrum point (longer) which moves the shifting point faster.

ok so i made a short shifter which still shortens the throws but not a true sts i guess if i found one for cheap id have to give it a shot to see how really close it is id prob be amazed anywho i still need to get my dogbone to feel the real effects my stocker is worn to hell
