egt gauge temp?

does anyone have an egt gauge? i have one on mine i was wondering what temp is normal to be reading. at idle i am at 900 degrees when driving it is around 1,200 is this about right? i placed it about 2-3 inches away from the head in the header like the directions said just wondering any opinons will help thanks

Yup, that sounds perfect. 850-950 at idle, 1200-1300 at cruise, and you don't want to see anything higer than around 1400+, otherwise you probably are running lean somewhere (clogged injector, manifold leak, etc).

Also, hopefully you installed it on cylinder #3 right? If not, no biggie, but cyl #3 is the one that goes first on these motors.

Slickshoes is right. You should be fine. As for your sig, nice mods for only having the car for a year or so. Jeez, what did you do, liquidate a savings account? I am very jealous!
