which mod first?!?!

I've had my svtf for about a month now. I have lots of plans for it just no order in which I wanna do everything.

Should I buy the fswerks Tuner first or put an exhaust on it first?

What all will the tune do?

Exhaustwise I love the popping, will a tune make it pop louder? I test drove one before I bought mine that popped really loud whenever you let off the gas in almost every gear. I want mine to pop louder basically so it can be heard.

Which exhaust should I get as well? I dont want a ricer sound, but I want it to sound good at idle and cruising, but sound like a bat outta hell when on it and at WOT.

Any input will help, thanks guys.

The Borla exhaust is generally regarded as being pretty good sounding, but you won't see much as far as power gains, unless you go with a high-flow cat, or ORP.

turob1focus, Tom, from Focus-Power does a real good tune for the SVT's, most say it's the first upgrade that should be done.. And he gives free updates as you upgrade your car, unless you go FI.

Go with Toms Tune, The FSWerks one is nice, and a good idea if you plan to get the FSWerks Turbo, but unless you plan on that specific turbo, Toms is the better route.

I read and heard that fswerks tune is better route. That randy is easier to work with and has a better tune. And verification to this and why if so?

1) I feel like I have a much better SVT tune , I have been working on the SVT tune sence 2002 as I won a SVT Focus , with owing a SVT I have been able to fine tune the tune as I find things that are or would be issues , I have a dyno so with owing a car I have more time to spend with MY car on the dyno beating on it vs a customers car
2) I offer free updates as you add more mods

3)I am here in the Forum and a very easy guy to get ahold of and to deal with

I would not do the UDP as they will add no performance and only lighten your wallet , I also wouldnt add the oil seperator for the same reason

The best mods are
Tune (mine would be my first choise lol)
ORP or HFC
drop in filter

Please let me know if I can help

Tom

thanks for the input tom. im definately doing a drop in, and an orp. but im gonna do the orp and exhaust all at once next year in spring (no point in doing it for winter.

the only thing keeping me is your 495 price tag and fswerks 379.99 price. kinda a big difference for me

Mine is 395.00 shipped AND with getting my tuning you get a Custom Tune and FREE updates as you add more mods , Not a bad deal for the best tune around for the SVT Focus
