only advantage i see with it is to be used with N2o. you can turn the timing back on the quickness and then hit the juice.

other than that, the OEM iginition is fine and will support 400+ hp.
have you had the car tuned yet? if not, i would start there before getting this unit.
Since you have a SVT, i suggest you go to Tom for your tuning needs.

I honestly do not understand where the "MSD coil causes problems" comes from unless it's repeated hearsay. Maybe some people think for every dollar spent they should gain one horsepower...don't know. The only reason I don't have a Jacob's coil is they're now owned by Accel and not as good as they once were. I have the MSD coil and wires, AND cold start ups are a little quicker, idle is a bit smoother and throttle response improved over stock coil and wires. I have been running it for five years and have had no problems at all.
