Question What will out handle a SVT focus????

Well after seeing the; "what can a SVT beat" thread. I started thinking, what STOCK front wheel drive car would handle better than a STOCK svt?

Prelude type SH?
RSX Type S?
Mazda 3?
Neon SRT4?
Golf GTI?
Intergra Type R?
VW Corrado (V6 or S/C 4 cylinder)?
Nissan Sentra SE-R (the old school one, not the new 3K lbs 4-door one)?
Toyota Celica (again the old school one, not the new one that looks like the batman mobile)?
Volvo C-70 (FWD 5 cylinder turbo coupe)?
Scion TC?

haha, im glad my thread can inspire some people...but im also wondering what can out handle these cars...i remember driving with my dad and some nice brand new bmw raced us. he got us of course, but here came the off ramp and we flew right by him. he kept speeding up but then slowing down drastically because the turn kept getting a little tighter. its nice to have something $50,000 beamers dont have =)

Prelude type SH = handles well but way too heavy
RSX Type S = pretty much even with the SVTF, it's a good handling car
Mazda 3 = not even close, these are more touring than sport and the SVTF will rape it
Neon SRT4 = too much wheel hop (on uneven surfaces) and understeer
Golf GTI = about the same but slightly heavier

I owned a 1997 Prelude 5spd and it was a great car but it's extra weight was a bit too much to compete with the SVTF.

You think a Contour SVT will take a Focus SVT? I've driving both and hands down I've liked my SVTF much more handling-wise. The Contour SVT was a mistake.

Yea the contour svt makes about 30 more hp and it does have the good suspension under it. Besides if it wasnt for the contour svt there might not have been a svt focus. The sales were strong on them, so that was a good reason for svt to work there magic on another small car (focus) and not just the mustang and lightning. To call it a mistake is wrong, but i always did like them along with the 93-95 sho's as well.
