New transmission, break in period?

I'm getting pretty much getting a new transmission put in next week and need to know if there is a break in period for these or not before I resume my spirited driving habits?

It's too difficult for me to not at least once a day give it the beans.

Ehh, drive it like you stole it. It will be fine. I don't really even baby an automatic when re rebuild one. If its done right it should handle it.

The only thing that would require a break in period would be the clutch if its new.

Well who manufactured the clutch kit? Follow the manufacturers break-in period.

My car was fixed at the Ford dealer, so whatever clutch that is. Probably OEM.

No real break-in per-say with a OEM style clutch is typically needed. These things see 2000ish RPM of rotational force and friction right out of the box with the first drive. Its quite frankly unavoidable. A lot more than any brake system does. Just don't do any dropping the clutch business for a few hundred miles or so, let the clutch disc mate to the surfaces of the flywheel and pressure plates efficiently and your good to go.

Yea I don't think you need a break in period on the clutch
