Tune-up

I am going to do a tune up on my car but need straight answers from the SVT owners on here. Do you use aftermarket plugs and wires or do you use the factory ones that came with the car?

Most people seem to run motorcraft copper core but the down fall is replacing them more often or the run factory motorcraft platinum plugs, As far as wires most people will upgrade to a bigger aftermarket wire some options would be a Taylor thundervolt or some 8mm wires from cfm.
plugs

Also check out this post should answer some of your questions aswell.
Ask your spark plug, wires and coil questions here

As far as my car i have a screaming demon coil pack and livewires (on there when i bought it) and there seems to be no improvement with an aftermarket coil on these cars from what i have read so when it fails i will replace it with and oem unit also my plugs are factory plats. as far as i know i will being doing my tune up next oil change so i will know exactly whats is it when i swap them i doubt the po changed them the car has 55,000 miles.

i like them a lot, everything seems smoother. especially idle. heck man, for 8 bucks a pack you can't beat coppers. it takes literally 5 mins to replace them on my svt. and really you really only need to change them every 10-15k miles, so what, once a year?

Yep, I only drive about 100 miles a week so once a year it will be.
