questions on what to buy??

Okay there are two big questions first

Which clutch is good?? I dont want to spend a fortune but still want something good. I cant find a ford racing clutch for the svtf (which i had in my mustang and loved it).

second is

Which rotors are good. Ive heard that the stock rotors are awesome but i dont want to spend a fortune. let me know what your using and how much money you spent on them and how you like them.

thanks for your help with everything.

There is no Ford Racing clutch for the SVT. I recommend Clutch Master or South Bend. If you want to save money, get the Luk OEM replacement. Holds more power than stock.

Stock rotors work well. I wanted a meaner look, so I got Centric slotted front and rear, but entirely unnecessary

EBC makes some really nice pads and rotors for the SVT, but I'm agreeing that anything over stock is completely unnecessary for daily driver duties.

EBC's are the ones I'm upgrading too. I agree with everyone here saying that it's overkill but hey, whats wrong with over kill!

i have cross drilled and slotted units. had a big problem with warpping the factory style rotors. i ended up getting a set off ebay for under 250 with pads and have had no issues since i installed them over 2 years ago. also ran into another local guy with the same rotors and he also hasnt had any issues. looks mean as hell also. i check out central florida motorsports if i were you. i picked my clutch masters stage one and fidanza flywheel from them. also i see that clutch masters also sells a stage 7 kit now that is a multi disk kit and flywheel made together. said to have crazy grip with near stock engagement. just a steep price. the stage one is a good upgrade thou.

I have centric rotors from and back with hawk pro pads from and back... haven't gotten my car back yet to see how they work... also got 6pc russel steel brake lines to go with them... hope to see a nice improvement without a crazy amount of brake dust and I have heard the centrics won't look all rusty and such like the oem.

I've always used Spec clutches without any issue. A stg1 will hold just fine (even with a JRSC!)

As far as rotors, I went with Napa's HD rotors. 4X the runout resistance of even OE rotors and are guaranteed for life against warping. And went with Hawk HPS pads. IMO the best pads you can buy for a street car, awesome feel and stopping power and seriously like 0 brake dust which for someone like me who is concerned with having a clean car always, that's huge!
