Interested in an AEM cold air intake

Is the AEM CAI the best option? Anyone use one and recommend it? Any alternatives to recommend?

just get a k&n oem replacement filter, a cai is not worth it with the svt, search and you'll see why

thats not necissarily true. I've asked Tom about it and its not always the best out there. AEM is a good intake and you will see gains.

From what I've been reading you'll more so hear the intake rather than feel it. If you could find one for a good deal then I would say go for it but if your looking for more power than you won't be to impressed.

I'm not necessarily looking for more power, just something that lets my car breathe a little nice, and dress up the engine bay a little :p

I'm disappointed in the dealership, it looks like they soaked every piece of black plastic under my hood in armor-all...I've been trying to wipe it all off for 2 days now. But on the other hand, I get free washes, oil changes and scheduled maintenance.

I have an aem cai on my dd svt focus. I felt a gain after installing it. Don't expect a gain like nitrous or boost. There is a gain though. The truth is 4 to 10 hp gains are a little hard to tell unless you really know your car. As far as the guy with 110 degree heat, nothing is really going to help him but boost or spray. Those are some high temps. I live in NC. We don't see too many 100 degree days. For my money, Aem's cai is worth it. Just my two cents.
