Spec Clutch

I had a Spec Clutch installed in my SVTF about 2years ago, and the Ford Techinician said "The pedal is stiff but once you break it in it will be softer." Well it's still stiffer than all hell! Just wanted to know if other people with Spec clutches have an extremely stiff clutch pedal.

I've had mine for over year and I do feel it's close to the same stiffness when it was installed new.

It all depends on how you drive the car and how much wear accures.

What exactly would I check? My fluid level is fine, and after two years if something was installed incorrectly I would think it would show by now.

Ok, I will bleed it when I get a chance. It's just like bleeding the brakes correct?

Also check your master cylinder, the one that is in the pedal.
