catalytic converter

can anyone tell me where i can get a cheap converter for my 2003 SVT
the engine code is a 5 and it seems to be hard to find

Try to find one used, on here or focaljet. There are after market companies that make them, you dont have to go to the dealer.

is there anywhere else it said they r out of stock maybe a magnaflow or some other brand i could check out. basicall what happened is i took off the cat a few years ago and went with a straight pipe. for a long time i friends with priveledges with regards to inspection now i need one and without the cat i cant

thanks but i dont think they will work cause on the car is a borla catback system with a straight pipe so i guess i am thinking i need a hiflow or another similar one maybe a universal i dont know

Borla catback should bolt right up to the flex pipe, which is bolted to the back of the CAT (or ORP Off Road Pipe).
Is your flex pipe gone??

High flow CAT and stock CAT exit at the same location.
^^^Meaning, they both bolt between the header and the flex pipe, then in turn the exhaust bolts to that.
A picture would really help to see what all you actually have on the car right now.
