Exclamation help/advice dsi lever

I am replacing my IMRC motor and I cannot for the life of me get the cable disconnected from the lever. I looked through the how to and everything. Is there a trick to it? Or should just be pulling on it a lot harder?

Do yourself a favor and install one of CFM's billet dsi levers. You will never have to mess with it again.

Was not able to get the CFM clip on. Worked on it for 2+ hours and was fighting the sun going down and still had to put the headlight back in and battery box and intake. I just put the stock one back on. I will just keep on eye on it and if or when it snaps I will unplug the IMRC motor so it doesnt burn out.
