well i am thinking that the engine light is just temporary because its come on and off before.

Rpm issue isnt a big deal either.

I just don't know if this car is just like junk or what, it wouldnt be that hard to sell

None of those are really issues since they are wear parts, they just last longer sometimes.
try cleaning your tb, sounds like the shaft is sticking.
maintenance and keeping tabs on things is key to any car. There is no car made you can just hop into and drive with never having a problem, altho some people think they should be able too.
I don't know of but a small handful of people here that didn't have to replace the clutch around 40-50k.
If you got over 4 years out of the battery, be happy.
wish I could have hit 60k before replacing my brakes, at 75k I'm on my third set all the way around.
Ahh, the well known t-stat housing leak, nothing to say on that one.
If you have full coverage insurance your insurance better be fixing your car under the comprehensive part of the policy.

Everything you mentioned are normal wear issues, except for the clutch explosion.
How much do you expect to get out of a set of brakes??
Tires?? Sounds about right...
Battery? Every 4 years...
End links, every 70,000 maybe...?
Dent? Your just complaining...it's not the cars fault either! lol

Suprised your exhaust heat shields haven't made your list...or the cat bracket.
DSI clip still good?

Everything else is basically the cars character and design...and it's all well documented here and elsewhere.

Sell it and go buy a Civic I guess...?

And maybe change the title of the thread to "SVT Focus...exactly what I expected"?

Nah, most of your "problems" were things that break. Sucks about that part wearing through your tires but I'm confused. It is not physically possible for a tie rod to wear through a tire...it's like 4" or more away from it. The closest thing I see (I was just under my car 2 min ago) is the sway bar end link.

Having a clutch die sucks for sure. Everything else happens. The intake manifold setup isn't perfect.

Here are some things that could have gone wrong on your car that *didn't*:
Clutch master cylinder
Wheel bearing
DSI lever
Alternator
Power steering leak
list goes on

I say, for your first car, you got something special here in the SVT...
Get your hands dirty with some of the fixes (most are easily doable by the average shade-tree mechanic), keep it clean and well maintained, and enjoy both driving and working on it!
