VCT delete

what are the benefits? a lopyer idle? any more power? i think it only has to do w/down low power. but don't know.

i'm building an SVT rally car (well zx3 body w/ SVT swap.) so i'm looking into options while still staying as a P car

You should ask Tom since he makes a kit for it.

There's no real benefit to doing VCT delete. Yes, your idle will lope more because the intake cam will be running its true duration all the time. Yes, it's one less part to break, but you lose a lot of low-end torque. I have no idea why you would want to lose low-end torque.

VCT delete is intended for people going FI VCT makes the svtf fun I think! I love being at 3000 rpm and not struggling.

The other night at work my supervisor told how he hates having a high revving car sometimes talking about his modded 98 Honda Prelude SH because the lack of low end. I told him, idk, i don't have that problem:!!!

no, the zx2 will not work. dimensions are different.
If your not fi there is a slight benefit, but not enough to spend the money for it. besides the kit and a set of adjustable cam gears, your going to need dyno time to dial them in.
