I know the HFC is illegal in cali so it may not. Glad I live in Idaho where we have NO emissions checks

Chips don't do anything for us, talk to Tom(1turbofocus) about his tune. I don't have it as of now but I'm saving cash for it, his tune has excellent feedback from users. Sad to say it's nearly impossible to find legal mods in california

My JayRacing HFC passed with flying colors - being tested for a part of San Diego county which is actually more strict than the rest of Cali. Stock tune, no electrical changes really, but that's with HFC, CAI, CFM TB, Livewires and Screamin' Demon. So it's possible... but I don't recommend trying... heh.

My whole family ALWAYS uses the same smog place so the guy is cool with us, if it fails he gives us free re-trys and advice for passing. I think im gonna go stock tune and leave the HFC on and see if i get lucky.

did you have the CEL eliminator on your car when you tested?

The HFC cat willpass the visual and drive test, but the CEL cheater will fail the visual. Unless the tech want to do something illegal.
