where to find the mbrp exhaust?

after much a searching for the semi-recently discontinued mbrp exhaust kit i have decided to give up the search. would you guys say borla was the closest sounding?? i had a 2.5 catback borla on my jetta and loved its depth, but that was on a vr6 not the 4cyl.

well all in all, im looking for a deeper and louder sound then stock..never been a fan of magnaflow, too pingy for me..

one thing im not too sure of is would a smaller diameter mean a deeper or higher pitch? ive commonly associated large diameters with riceburners and dont want that but i understand its not a v8

Did you call up MBRP? I just got one about 2 months ago(put it on the wifes duratec) and it wasnt listed on thier site but when I called em up they had em in stock. And you cant go wrong with Borla, thats what Ive got on my svt.

They still have the jig if I recall as well.. I've had mine on for years and it's my second purchase from them back in the day.

I bought my MBRP a couple years ago.. Really happy with it.. one thing though.. it's loud.. like all the time loud.. Not Ricey at all, the sound is great, but you'll wake your neighbors kinda loud... Snap, Crackles, and Pops when you shift or let off the gas..

Call their tech support line, I know the woman I talked to was really helpful and actually went to talk to one of thier engineers before she called me back with an answer to the issue I was having...

MBRP makes the BEST exhaust for the SVT, hands down.
