maybe an ORP and larger exhuast, stick w/ the stock intake and exhuast, they are better then most if not all aftermarket choices. you can also go w/ a 67 mm tb. or you could boost the crap out of it!

since its SVT you could probably get a significant boost from a tune. the factory tune on the svt leaves alot of room for improvement. get rid of the cat and replace it with an off road pipe and get some freer flowing exhaust. if you want a big difference you might want to start learning about nitrous. thats the biggest boost in hp you can get for the amount of money will spend without getting turbo. and its quite safe so long as you know what you are doing and run a good tune. and you dont get carried away and try to run a 200 shot on a stock motor

if you get n2o watch out for the police! they tend to frown on nitrous usage in some places!

I would agree , A tune would be the first mod to do to a SVT Focus

I also sell tunes for the SVT that come with free updates as you add more mods , all other charge for update tunes

I'm thinking a tune wouldn't be the first thing i would go off, but possibly. Don't really know where i want to do with it right now. Nothing too expensive and for sure no super or tubro....atleast not yet

Ok, im pretty sure im going with an Intake for the moment....dont know what i should go with though, cause a cold air intake will not add much more than a basic K&N filter. plus will it get wet if it hangs to low? and cost...

From what I've heard, the stock SVT intake is just as good as any aftermarket intake. I would skip that and hit up something that could use some improvement.

I'd check into aftermarket headers so you can get rid of the catalytic converter.

That or get a larger TB. I'd definitely do the larger TB over the intake for an SVT.

My suggestions are....

drop in K&N filter
65-67mm TB (dont forget to open up the flange on the manifold)
Short throw shift
all 3 VF Mounts
Toms Tune
Off road Pipe

Thats problely the best short list you'll find.

Don't replace the SVT header! You will lose power. You don't need to touch the header to lose the cat. The bottom line is that there are not alot of bolt-ons for the SVT. I would do TB, ORP, K&N drop in, and a Tune, but the best mod you will ever put on your SVT is a sticky set of tires.
