What tuner to buy?!?!

Ok so I gave up on trying to fix my P0141 code for the rear sensor, tried 3 different O2's, cheater, and checking wires so I have decided to get a tuner and just disable the rear sensor and get a little boost to the hp/tq while I am dropping money on the problem.

Whats the best tuner that wont cost me an arm and a leg? Just need it for N/A, only upgrade is the coil pack/wires and a K&N filter.

And I assume if they disable the rear O2 it doesn't matter if I can't find the DTC source, it will still eliminate the CEL?

Did you check your Fuses, i forget which one, but as i recall, one of the fuses controling the 02 sensor heater circuit can blow, and throw that code.

Was one of the sensors you tried an OEM one ? Most aftermarket sensors are crap.

To answer your other question, yes a rear sensor disable from a tuner will eliminate the need for you to find the problem. I have been using an SCT Xcal2 cost ~$300.

Yes Fuse #18 is fine, always has been, that would have been nice if it was that.

I tried a Bosch, then a OEM Ford, then another Bosch, nothing out of any of the 3.

are you talking about the diablosport predator tuner?

i bought my diablosport predator for my svt for $299. they have a nice performance tune that can be installed for stock to mildly modified svtf's. and believe me, you can feel a difference. here is the website i bought mine from:

http://www.concoursdirect.com/disp20svtfop.html

this is a great deal!

this tuner can also read and clear trouble codes

I sell the Predator for 395.00 shipped , for that extra 96.00 you get a custom tune (MUCH better then the STD cookie cutter diablo tune) and (the diablo tune does not turn off any emmissions ,rear o2 , evap , change the IMRC points, and dozens of other issues)

You get free updates with getting my tune as well , Altho 299.00 sounds like a good deal it isnt , if he ever wanted a good tune on his car then thats another 150.00 and if he wanted updates to what he has he first has to buy the 150.00 then 35 to 50 each time he wants to add more mods

Focus-Power Predator Priceless for 96.00 more

Tom
