Expert Clutch Advise Needed

Ok I got a local tranny () shop to install my new 6-speed and new Spec stage 3 with lightweight flywheel. Now when the car is in gear and I let off the gas the clutch is making a rushing noise as it revs down. It sounds like there are a lot of marbles in there or like one of those big sticks with all the beads that is used as a musical instrument. The noise goes away when I push in on the clutch or take it out of gear.

I took a buddy for a ride today and he told me it sounds like the throw out bearing needs to be adjusted or pilot bearing or an input shaft bearing in the transmission. He is a "Civic guy" so I don't know if that applies??? I am taking it back to the shop on Monday and I would like for some advise as what you guys think may be wrong or what I should tell them to look for. I haven't been revving it hard. 3,500 rpm shifts with normal acceleration for the break-in period (80 miles so far). Thanks as always!

Ok been doing some youtub'in and the clutch is not clicking, or whining...IDK it just sounds like marbles are in there when I let off the gas and it is in gear. As soon as I push in the clutch pedal it goes away!

did you have the throw-out bearing replaced? If not that may be your problem

does it rattle at all in idle when not in gear and your foot isn't on the pedal?

Could be alot of different things, but, all the lightweight flywheel manufacturers state that there may be increased gear noise with the alum flywheel. Usually this is at a stop when in neutral at an idle, not when in gear. Some items that may help to diagnose: Does it make the noise when 1. in neutral, 2. in gear, 3. clutch pedal depressed or released, 4. moving or at stop.

Yeah, I think the OP is just being overly sensitive to the noise. It is pretty noisy with the aluminum flywheel. I can hear it even when I have music on if it's on low volume; especially during deceleration in gear.

^^^^^ i have been reading alot cause i need to get a new clutch and this is sounding more and more like a normal occurance with new clutches and light flywheels. Give it some time and see if it gets worse. if it does there may be different problems. hope it works out man.
