spark plug and thermostat housing questions.

Does any one know if there are E 3 Diamond fire plugs for the SVT? Also has anyone had any problems after installing a 2000 contour thermostat housing?

Don't!!!!! In my experience fords often do not respond well to non-motorcraft plugs (I have seen more problems with bosch/champion/ngk/... plugs in fords than I can count.) While there are exceptions to every rule, why go with something else when the motorcraft coppers are great and cheap?

i just put a set of E3's in my svt. i swapped in a new motor a few weeks ago and went with them. i have no issues. engine runs smooth. for 6 dollars a peice im happy. and i found um at oreilys auto parts. was the only plugs they had that would work with the svt.

If you go on FJ there is a thread about the contour thermostat housing possibly being a direct and maybe better replacemnet. I think someone is testing it now.

I went with the coppers and after about 8000 miles performance fell off. Installed denso iridiums and feel that these plugs will maintain performance for a longer period.
