Exclamation new clutch slipping

i know this will prolly get moved to the right spot but thats ok. anyways i've search and search as usual all the clutch threads as well as misc. threads about new clutch installs , but i could not for the life of me find the answer i needed. i just had a new spec stage 2 clutch and flywheel combo installed by my local svt certified ford dealer and i know that you need to break in the clutch using mostly easy city driving (stop and go) for at least 500 miles and thats according to Spec themselves. my problem is i have only 200 miles on the thing and its slipping!!!! it only slips when the engine bogs a lil bit from being in a higher gear or it slips when i get up to speed (55 mph) and i give it some gas to speed up a lil bit and it slips. it doesnt slip on take off or between shifts or driving it easy with no bogging around town. the clutch pedal grabs early, not up high. i dont see any signs of leaking, fluids are full and the system was bled. i have new everything (clutch, flywheel, throw-out bearing assembly, master, clutch pedal cylinder etc.) does a new clutch slip a lil bit during break in or is this thing crap out of the box??

No it shouldnt slip at all , I think spec clutches are the worst out there and I have sed that many times , I have taken more low miles spec clutches out and replaced them then any other clutch out there

Contactspec they will give you a bunch of crap about how it was installed , send you a new one in most cases and you have to eat the install

just a quick update!!....i contacted spec and talk to jeremy the tech guy and he said the clutch should only slip during break in if you are at the torque limit of the clutch. he said the symptoms sound like a mechanic put the clutch disk in with greasy hands. i also talked to the warranty guy and just like tom said they grilled me about the install but wont replace it until i send them pictures of the clutch dissassembled, which means i might have to take this thing out and that doesnt mean spec will give me a new one!! the warranty guy seems to think that there is a contaminate on the clutch disk or flywheel if nothing is leaking. SO in the morning the manager of the dealer i had it installed at wants to drive the car to determine that indeed the clutch has some kind of contaminate on it. if there is they will redo the install with the new clutch for free, BUT my guess is that i'm gonna get nowhere with them! so my whole point is i am gonna need some links to threads on how to get this tranny/clutch out b/c i cannot afford to pay the dealer to get the clutch out and i have only 120 days from purchase to get this resolved. thank you for putting up with my blah!

The svt tranny is a pain to get out, you almost always seem to need a carlift. Good luck with the clutch. Man I thought junk like this only happened to me.

+1 for the tranny being a PITA to remove, and +6 about things like this only happening to me, I've finally resolved my clutch issues after a solid year of trouble resulting in 2 new sets of clutch/flywheels.
