Off Road Pipe/Straight Pipe with stock exhaust

Just wondering if anyone has a sound clip of their SVT with no cat and the stock exhaust. After hearing everyone say you get no power gains from an aftermarket exhaust, I'm thinking of just doing a straight pipe with the stock exhaust.
Thanks guys!

Go 3in. from the header back, and see if you don't get any gains!

Here is a dyno.

As far as a sound clip, have you done a search on it?

my car with half factory exhaust, ORP and meagan racing muffler. removed large mid muffler and 2.5 from mid way back. styled like an HKS and makes aplusing sound when idleing like a WRX. kinda sounds a little deeper then the one from youtube.

It sounds a bit raspy for my tastes. You could always cut out the factory muffler and resonator and weld in a magnaflow or Borla.

The ORP takes a pretty modest stock SVT exhaust and makes it considerably louder. As far as performance with a cat-back.. I dont know, still stock here but recently debating on going with a cat-back.

My experience with the ORP is mixed. The sounds difference is nice, but the low end torque loss is considerable, and not quite worth the minimal HP gains up top. Granted the car did pull harder up top, but not nearly as hard down low. No cheater plugs either, I had my car tuned with the stock cat, and with the ORP.
