you can pass emissions if it is just a OBD scan and not a sniffer

and with your tune you shouldn't have an active rear O2 so I wouldn't imagine it would.

Also, an aftermarket tune may cause an issue with the OBD-II scan, why don't you ask at one of those smog places they have everywhere around there?

I'm sure if you gave someone a $20 (or cady ) they'd pass you

the place where i get my test done he just plugs it to a machine but he does look under the car with a mirror but he thinks my resinator is the cat haha and about the tune causing an issue dosent seem like one b/c im pretty sure it already has an aftermarket one so there should be no prob there

If they are just going to plug into your diagnostic port, and you're not throwing any codes, you should be fine.

Ok then, so when I go to Ford in about 4 months to get my
inspection and what not...

what should I do about my ORP?
and would having O2 sensor cheaters help?

and a new tune to my car?
XD

First off.....different states have different procedures.

In Missouri we have to do a safety inspection first, which includes the inspector looking for removed/modified emission devices. This is usually a very quick look over, and the guy might miss a mod or two, but you never know.

Then they do a different emission inspection.....all done on camera, monitored by the highway patrol. When they plug in the OBDII connector, in addition to checking for codes, it also checks for something called a "readiness test". This may reveal the presence of an O2 cheater, or something else illegal. So....if you have a "tune" installed, there's a good possibility you'll fail.

As to paying someone to pass an illegal car....a dealer can lose his license if caught, and the guy doing it can do jail time. They send test cars through all the time, trying to catch cheaters. Not a smart thing to attempt.....
