2003 Svt Clutch Install?

I'm getting ready to put a new clutch in my car this week along with changing the timing belt. Is there anything else I should do while everything is out of the way? Anything I should check?

i personally think its worth it to change the clutch master and slave cylander. that way everything clutch wise is new and u dont get the surprise puddle on ur driverside floor. check ur mounts most likley they r fine but its a quick look while its out. good luck. i've done it twice its a pain but not unreasonable

If you're not replacing the FW, consider getting it 're-cut'... Basically smoothing it out by resurfacing .001 - .002 off it.

^^^It's probably best not to resurface the stock dual mass SVTF flywheel.
While you may find a shop to do it, I'll bet there's more that wouldn't.

There are members that have had them done though.
PumkinSVT, you out there? How's yours holding up?

Doug ^^^ is correct. DO NOT resurface that flywheel. The best thing is the whole kit from Ebay from LUK that includes the flywheel. That "is" the tsb clutch upgrade from Ford.
