Sad Day

Well I rolled 100,000 miles on my car yesterday. I must say it is quite painfull to see the miles rack up. I had 91,500 when I bought it about 6 months ago. It is still pullin hard though

Well it's getting up there and you bought a vehicle with high mileage, what did you expect? Wait, you drove 8500 miles in 6 months. I don't drive that in 16 months because I literally live 5-10 minutes from everything.

8k in 6 months isn't too horrible. most things say the avg person puts 15k on a car a year, depending on what source you look at.

I am at 142K ... yup ...

And I bought my good running SVT back in 03 when it had 3 miles on it ... just 3.

My car runs great for me. I enjoy everyday since the day I bought it. And will enjoy it for the next few years ... till I get a new engine to start all over again.

(I lived in San Francisco .. then drove moved to Oklahoma ... then drove moved to Dallas ... then drove moved to Houston) .... lot of miles.

Yep I'm with Jack. 30k+ year for me too. At least I bought it new and I have all the maintenance records/receipts I'm at 82k now. Just 2 1/2 years ago, i was only at 18k so 18k in just the first 2 years and then the rest since I moved to California.

and only I know how hard it was driven
