ORP is it worth it?

So i have been reading and everyone is talking about ORP(Off road pipe) and HFC(High flow cat)

What are the power gains of each?
is it worth it to just get a delete kit?

will this affect emissions (knowing it will) is it worth it

Just trying to get the best power gains for the price while staying semi legal

Save yourself some time and money and get a high flow cat.

I created an easy to follow list below.
ORP Pros
Quicker RPM revs
Better MPG
More horsepower
Easier on the engine
Much lighter than a factory catalytic converter

ORP Cons
Loud drone on the highway at 2500-3200 RPMs
Lower torque off the line (where you do 90% of your driving)
Not emissions legal
Obnoxiously loud which gets the attention of every ricer in a 10 block radius
Can make the car a chore to drive

I could tell a huge difference in the amount of power (boosted though) but ultimately the SVT cat made the car more civilized and easier to drive.

I plan on going with a HFC because I want the best of both worlds.

The tune helped but low end torque is still really lacking compared to the stock cat, I plan to go HFC as well.

Plus the sound is AWFUL

yep i liked the power of my orp i had but
it sounded like $hit (a rice rocket) half the time so i traded a dude
my orp (that i made) for a wrc front bumper and a set of side skirts,
so it worked out for me..lol

i would go with the hfc, we have a group buy going on with
jay racing for hfcs hit them up if you want in on it..

sounds awful? sounds like rice? i assume that you guys also dont have an aftermarket exhaust.

your right. an ORP w/ stock exhaust DOES sound like crap.

imo the orp + any exhaust system is way to loud. I dont want everyone within 15 blocks looking towards my car everytime I hit 5k rpms.
