From my personal experience, I have a Spec stgII with a Fidanza flywheel and I love it, never had an issue. Seems reasonable to piece your own combo together, just make sure it will all work together.

Check out SOUTH BEND CLUTCH

the stg 3 is equal to a CM or Spec stg 4. Also way cheaper, and when you need to replace the clutch you wont have to call around and find packages that dont include the Flywheel.

I called several companies trying to find just the CM or Spec clutch, they said I had to buy the whole package just to get a clutch.

Spec is only selling the clutches for a redesign pressure plate, they say it only fits their flywheel, the website says it has a redesigned pressure plate that gives 30% more clamp power with only 9% pedal force (???) and that gets rid of the chatter noise. I wonder if the new design would fit a fidanza flywheel.

double post anyone?

Tavi, I'd say call up the companies and see when you're in need for replacement clutch, can they sell you individual parts.

Get it based on convenience and durability. With the clutch I wouldn't try to skimp on chump change. 100 dollars could be the difference between having to replace the clutch and keeping it for an extra 10,000 miles.
