Does this sound like a good deal?

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum...
Ive been looking into a daily commuter car that is still fun to drive and I really like everything Ive read about the svt.I found a 04 svt w/ 32k miles for $9200. Im going to check it out today. If it checks out with no bad history would you buy it?

That's pretty low mileage for one and the price doesn't sound to far off especially if it's in good shape. I'd try and talk them down, maybe like $8500 or so. They are great cars and make excellent DD due to their practicallity and fun factor both being high. SVT specific parts can cost alil more but SVT's make much more fun daily drivers.

well since the extra cost has been brought up....how much more could you expect to pay on insurance for an svt compared to just a zx3 SE?

Depends on your record and age. I got mine when I was 16 and paid $300 per year for mine

I have yet to replace SVT specific part.

The common maintenace items cost the same as a regular ZETEC

I would get the SVT its very nice for the price.

does it have the winter package? Heated seats, block heater, HID's?

svt foci are awesome vehicles! they just cost a bit more to repair sometimes...but don't let that sway your decision as they are very reliable vehicles compared to others

If its a Euro package, it's a good price, if it's not a Euro I'd try to get it for a bit less.
