judging by the picture and how it connects to the TB it looks like its for the standard zetec w/ the TB over in the middle and not the SVT

yeah i was kind of looking at that too... hmm.

do you think i could get it to fit with some pipe cutting? Like, if i cut the longer end shorter (making up for the fact that the TB is on the side and not in the middle) could it work?

Yep I'd say that's a Zetec kit.

Here's mine from wayyyyy back. You can see the real tight bend to the TB which that kit doesn't have.

Then why the heck would they say it fit an 03 svt. anyways, would cutting work? It looks like i could get it to fit if i cut it, but i just want to be sure that the dive down is the same.

just to boost your ego a lil bit, they could have multiple intake kits listed under "focus" and they may send you a focus SVT kit even though the picture isnt shown...if not return that ish!

I say return it as well.
There's no way that one part will fit all the models they have listed under "Compatibility Info".

---Speaking of Auto Parts Warehouse...
I ordered a set of rotors from them.
3 were correct fOCUS lug pattern, but one was a 5 bolt.
You'd think they could tell there was a problem when one of the boxes was substantially larger than any of the others.
Friggin idiots.
At least the return/refund went semi-smooth, but I'll never order anything from them again.

I had the same problem. I ordered a exhaust gasket from them. They sent the wrong one. I will never order from them either. And the part I got was crap. I would suggest ordering from a more reputible company and paying the extra money. And going with CAI, I would definately spend money on a quality part. As i always say, you get what you pay for. That should be my sig.
