Odometer Tampering... Any way to tell?

I was wondering if there are more than one place the 04 SVT Focus stores the mileage. I just picked up my 04 from Alabama and have the Clunk issue, from what I feel is the engine mount after searching this site. The keypad for the doorlocks is highly worn, lock/unlock picture on buttons mostly gone, which seems odd for a car that only has 27,000 miles. Now, I know this could mean anything, but I was wondering if a dealership could hook this car up and check multiple areas and see if the mileage is the same, such as on the newer vehicles.

I think it's me just being paranoid... but I'd like to know.

Thanks.

Thanks. I'll hit the dealer. I've had carfax reports in the past and they are not very accurate. IMHO.

I have 33,000 miles on my 04 and you can barely see the lock/unlock on my remote as well so I would not worry to much about that. The clunk sounds like the rear engine mount, I would order one from C-F-M and be done with it!
