Audiophile display - horizontal 8?

Quick intro - I bought a 2003 SVT yesterday from the original owner. It has 95K miles, all stock, no winter package or T/C, has the HID's and moonroof.

I've been trying to figgure out what the two touching circles, or laying down 8 on the radio display signifies. The Owners manual has been no help so far.

One other question while I'm at it. I've noticed the throttle and cruise cables run directly over the valve cover, and they are wearing away at each other, and was currious if something was missing there, or if I should attempt to brace them somehow.

Thanks for the help, I've been reading over the forums for the last week, I've learned a lot about these little cars already.

See the "Car Audio & Electronics" forum for your AudioPhile question.

thanks for the cable help, I'll go the wire route.

As far as the radio display, it's on any time the radio is on, I haven't tried it with a CD as I havn't put a CD in yet.

I know i've seen that symbol on mine before also, and i do believe it's cause there's no cd's in the cd player.

At least that's the only time i remember seeing it...
